Directors & Officers Liability insurance
Directors and Officers Liability Insurance cover protects companies’ directors, officers and senior managers against claims arising as a consequence of decisions and actions taken whilst running their business.
If a claim is made the Director’s personal assets may be at risk. Directors cannot rely on the company indemnifying them. Often such an indemnity from the company will be in contravention of the Companies Act.
The Directors and Officers Liability Insurance Policy will pay legal costs and expenses and any civil damages awarded against the Director. We have special arrangements for these risks in respect of residential management companies.*
